The Origins of Ash Wood

Ash wood trees are prevalently found in North America, particularly in Canada. The name “ash” comes from the word “spear”, as the leaves on these trees are often spear-shaped. It was also believed that ancient Nordic people used the wood from the Ash tree to make weaponry!
